A false start

As I suspected, yesterday’s little nesting activity was a false start.   The birds were in and out and around the box all day, but no more carrying grass inside.  It’s still a little early.

I saw Daddy eating some juniper berries in the front yard this morning, first time I’ve seen that. Later watched a couple of male House Finches do the same. Pic is Daddy waiting for breakfast this morning. Don’t blue and russet make a wonderful color combo?
